About Me!

A little background about me. I grew up in a small farming area in Northern Maine close to the Canadian Border. I moved to Southern Maine at 20yrs old so I could be closer to the live music I was missing. I was able to go to many local shows and events being in a larger population.  I was able to hang out with Sully Erna one night at the Asylum in Portland Maine and on another night I hung out with American Head Charge and Slayer at the State Theater also in Portland Maine. Then I became a Parent and a majority of those events went away.... Temporarily!!!....  I took up golf thats a fun game! ...  I got a warehouse job, that was more accommodating for me and my Family. We took vacations, went to Amusement parks, Waterparks, few Zoos. My fiance and I went to Las Vegas a few times, we were also able to go to more events and shows. I started noticing something. I started noticing an energy at most events I went to. Positive Energy that radiates from the people and hosts at the events. Music was where I noticed it the most. One day I came up with an idea that I felt everyone needed. Everyone needs to go to the show, and may need help. With going to shows and feeling the energy I knew it could help change a person's life. Even for just one moment in their life. I thought, why not get others to these events and shows so they can experience that same energy. However as soon as I was able to start getting momentum with Tixpicsandsticks in 2020, I started having seizures, as well as the Covid shutdown. I was able to manage Tixpicsandsticks for about a yr, but had to stop due to my Finacial, medical condition and mental state, also the pandemic. My medical condition and mental state has now significantly improved, covids not a major thing anymore. My financial situation will now allow me to do small things, and now is the Time!

The Story!!!

To all the Members and Visitors:

Nov 27 2016 My fiance and I attended a concert at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland Maine, the band lineup was Sixx AM, Shinedown, FFDP. This was a Bday gift from her father to her. We were truly grateful and had an amazing time. On the way Home we started talking about all the times we had bought extra tickets to shows and events just to give them away. Little did we know Tixpicsandsticks was already established two decades before but was not an actual concept yet. That night would set us on a road of some amazing music events and what would eventually become Tixpicsandsticks. In February 2017, my fiance and I decided we wanted to go to Metallica in Philly on May 12th 2017, We knew we could pay for it but needed some help for the initial cost. A dear friend of ours decided he would help and paid for the initial ticket cost, it was a little piece of "THIS" Tixpicsandsticks!!!  That show was Amazing!!!.. We may not have afforded tickets with out the help from our friend "Getting Us To The Show!"... On May 27th, TOOL was added to our events list, it was my Sons first concert ever!  In July of that year we went to Rise Above Festival in Bangor Maine, included our Daughter so she could feel the energy of being at a larger show. Unfortunately it was Rise Aboves last event before changing names to Impact Music Festival! Lizzy Hale rocked our face off, so did Corey Taylor of StoneSour, as well as Shinedown, Seether and Korn. Because We went to our first 2 day festival here in Maine, My fiance and I decided we were going to go to our first big out of state 3day festival at the 2018 Carolina Rebellion..... WOW!!  What an amazing weekend never would we have thought that we'd be at a festival of this magnitude. Amazing!!! We met some awesome people and have had a chance to see them at a few different shows around New England. Around this time we were starting to get big into just wanting to "Get People to the Show!... How? You ask? Well as we had already been doing for yrs, we simply would buy extra tix to shows and events we were attending and inviting family, friends and others to come with us ... An example of the shows and events that we have attended and have bought extra tickets to, as I stated, it started way way before the concept was ever thought of. The Shows and Events list includes, Patriots 16-0 Game, A NASCAR race at Bristol Motor Speedway and New Hampshire Motor speedway. Escape room, Jeff Duhnam, Redsocks, Bush, 3 Doors Down, Creed, Ozfest, Ozzy, Nazareth, Motorhead, Molly Hatchet, Fog Hat, Steppenwolf, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Mayhem festival, SevenDust, Slipknot, System of a Down, Deftones, Mudvayne,  Motley Crue, Perfect Circle, New Years Day, Motionless In White, Halestorm, Water Country, In this Moment, Badwolves, Nothing More, Breaking Benjamin, FFDP, Shinedown, Godsmack, Stonesour, Impact Music Festival, Dinosaur Pileup, BadFlower, Alice Cooper, Alice in Chains, Korn, Knotfest Roadshow, Dorthy, Diamante, Three days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Ded, Lit the torch, Fit for a King, Ice Nine Kills, Beartooth, Pantera, Megadeath, Welcome to Rockville, Falling in Reverse, Papa Roach. Disturbed, HedPE, Soulfly. Not sure if I've left anything out, but we've had a good many people join us at these events and they can all attest that what We are doing is truly amazing. In sept of 2019 I came up with the actual idea to create a Name, a Logo, a Moto, a Website, and a FB group. Im now hoping all of you and anyone else who thinks this is an amazing idea and cause are able to provide others that same magic I feel..... I have had a few donations from others to help support the cause. Thank you!  All donation are welcome and only go towards "Getting You to the Show"!  My dream for TIXPICSANDSTICKS is to get the message out there so that People can participate and follow the cause from all over. Im also hoping maybe some bands or promoters or sponsors might see this and say wow this guys got something really cool and possibly help us with the "Cause."  Maybe with a donation of some sort like free GA tix, Pit Tix or maybe even VIP, or meet and greet tix or something like that to give away in the group or have us run a contest for on this website!.... So the goal is to make it self sufficient and keep it going so our "Cause" truly gets out there and we can offer all kinds of really cool prizes.  This is how I see TIXPICSANDSTICKS in action.  I want you all to know you don't have to buy anything or donate to be in the FB group @ https://www.facebook.com/groups/316113674716270/?ref=share&mibextid=NSMWBT.
